Rowe Creavin medical practice continues providing services to students on the Cork Road campus but also off campus in their practice on Slievekeale Road, Waterford.

⦁ If the injury is minor it can be dealt with by an on-site first aider.
If the injury requires medical attention please contact: Health & Safety Officer: 051-845517 (Estates Office).
If the accident occurs after hours please contact the Caredoc, 1850 334 999 or the Accident & Emergency Department at Waterford University Hospital, 051-848000.
If your injury is serious please contact the emergency services immediately. Dial 999 or 112.
Institute Nurses
Theresa Lowry-Lehnen, the on-campus nurse for the Carlow and Elma Clancy is the on-campus nurse for the Waterford Campus.
The main responsibilities of the campus nurse are:
- To provide a confidential service that has a particular emphasis on health promotion and healthy lifestyle awareness. Support is available on a caring and on-going basis.
- Resources that students may find beneficial to support many aspects of health are also available.
- The Institute Nurse liaises with the Medical Centre, Student Support Team and the Chaplain’s Office.
- The Institute Nurse also works as a support and a listening ear to students who are experiencing difficulties with college life.
- Students are very welcome to call in for a chat or discuss a health query or concern.
